Jedi's Athletes Foot

Just the other day, I saw my daughter Jedi scratching her feet and upon closer look, I found out some little tiny scaly wounds growing and with no doubt, this is an athlete's foot. I just can't believe it, it is so plentiful. She started to ask me questions about what is it, so I get hold of her iPad and typed in the words, and presto I am now reading to her what kind of skin disease she does have.

It is actually nice to have a moment like this with your daughters and to educate them where such skin diseases came from, their effects, and preventions. I showed them pictures of how such a disease varies each appearance from a different level and all they can say is "oh, how yucky!" "It's not nice Mami!" and my little one says "and it stinks too!".

I tried to search local medicines that are available in the Philippine market right now and thank YOU, LORD, there are creams such as bioderm, Nizoral, katialis to name a few, and soaps to heal and get rid of it. You could check on this page the prices just typed in the name of the medicine and it will give you the information and the prices http://www.thefilipinodoctor.com/index.php

Soaps that are available in our market right now were Dr. Kaufmann and Dr. S WongYou could check on this page the prices just typed in the name of the medicine and it will give you the information and the prices http://www.thefilipinodoctor.com/index.php

Our 1st step is to give her soap only for her foot not to be shared with anybody parts or to anybody to stop the spread of fungal infection. After drying her feet the creams will be applied to have those little fungi dried up. My youngest has been advised and educated about this and is very active in sharing her questions participated in reminding her sissy of the step-by-step procedure.

2nd step is that I asked her not to use her fabric doll shoes that she dearly love. We did replace these shoes with open-toe sandals and rubber-made sandals to eliminate odor and to keep her feet fresh and dry or just in case her foot became sweaty she could easily wipe it with a cloth or tissue paper.

We are currently in the process of healing and will give an update about the outcome.
