Moments_Live Forever

Envy crept into me everytime I watch and read about vampires...

"how does it feel to live forever walking in this lonely world of immortality....

why lonely?

because every one will surely die no one lives forever except you being a vampire--this is because of the movie Twilight which I intended to see later on this week... hush...

Good thing that the only immortality I am sure of is the life after death because of Jesus...

Moments_Love Pearls

I visited some links and sites about a mother and daughter bonding and relationship when I stumbled upon this book....

Love Pearls: Messages from a Mother to Her Daughter (Heart & Star Books) written by Nancy Swan

I read the review and indeed very heartwarming.

I recommend this for moms like me for their daughters to read.

Surely this will give your daughter a tickle and will remember the caring moments you shared with her...

For Jeddie with Love❤️

I know that this is too early for my daughter to read but I want to engrave this letter for her ahead of time on how much I am so thankful to have her as a daughter. I know for a fact that I was never been a good daughter to my mom but I did try my very best to be one. I failed her most of the time really broke her heart and made her cry at times.

Now that I am a mother, I realize how my mom felt during those times when she could not bear my hard-headed tantrums and self-righteousness as I grew old. One of the many things that I remember my mom made something into my life that changed me deeply enough from my old ways is for her to introduce Jesus to me as my Lord and my personal Savior. Everything changed after that. I feared God and loved HIM but despite that, I still committed sins that made my life hard for me.

I am sharing this with you my daughter to let you know that I have been a stubborn, rebellious child. These did not help me in life rather they gave me burdens and hardships in life. I did not acknowledge the Lord Jesus before not knowing that HE alone is the great source of help and that is the only reason that I live up to this time.

My child, do not follow my steps because these will only make your life harder and will make you fall into temptations that you cannot bear. Remember that without the Lord we are nothing and can do nothing since everything we have is in HIM and only He can save us. I love you my child and follow the life according to the Lord. I remember when I learned that I am conceiving a child inside of me you bring so much joy to me and your dad.

And from that time on I kept on praying about what name I will be giving you. I have read the whole book in the Old Testament way back then but I started reading it again that somehow the LORD will give me insight on what name I will give you. The Lord answered my prayer and led me to 2Samuel 12:25 Jedidiah Meaning: beloved by Jehovah-the name which, by the mouth of Nathan, the Lord gave to Solomon at his birth as a token of the divine favor (2 Sam. 12:25)

I know that the Lord LOVED you so much, that is why HE makes you happen in this world.

I love you, Jedidiah Dominique, you will make a difference in this world...

Happy Birthday!!!

Moments_Halloween

November is fast approaching and this month is something really extra special for me.

Of course not because for the Halloween event though it would be good to report for work during the Halloween season because of the double pay incentives.

This month is my baby Jeddie's birthday... we will be celebrating her 1-year-old birthday on November 14. That's a Friday but the celebration will be on Saturday.

Baby Jeddie started to mumble her words and those little feet that were crawling started to make little steps out on the floor.

I love to see her in those tiny shoes that I bought from Landmark and SM department stores.
Really time flies so swiftly and I cannot stop my little angel from growing each and every day.

I thanked you Father for a very wonderful gift...

I love you Babie Jeddie...

Moments_You are Wonderful

It happened several years ago in the Paris opera house. A famous singer had been contracted to sing, and ticket sales were booming. In fact, the night of the concert found the house packed and every ticket sold.

The feeling of anticipation and excitement was in the air as the house manager took the stage and said, "Ladies and gentlemen, thank you for your enthusiastic support. I am afraid that due to illness, the man whom you've all come to hear will not be performing tonight. However, we have found a suitable substitute we hope will provide you with comparable entertainment." The crowd groaned in disappointment and failed to hear the announcer mention the stand-in's name. The environment turned from excitement to frustration.

The stand-in performer gave the performance everything he had. When he had finished, there was nothing but an uncomfortable silence. No one applauded. Suddenly, from the balcony, a little boy stood up and shouted, "Daddy, I think you are wonderful!" The crowd broke into thunderous applause.

We all need people in our lives who are willing to stand up once in a while and say, "I think you are wonderful."

And at times others are expecting this from you. Are you telling them how wonderful you are?

Moments_Annoyed

Can't think right for the last minute...

I am indeed annoyed hearing the witch yelling at my back advising me on what to click and my next step just to pull up my AHT...

these are the times that I really don't like her doing that...
actually on what she's doing does not help me at all...

it just make me more nervous and rattled on what to do...

I do hope she will realized that I am actually doing what i can to improved my AHT and of course to lessen the mistakes that I got...

just sharing you that I am actually annoyed at this time...c",)

Moments_A Morning Prayer

Dear Father,

You are ushering in another day
untouched and freshly new,
so here I come to ask You, God
if You'll renew me too?

Forgive the many errors, that
I made it yesterday, and let me try
again dear God, to walk closer
in Thy Way.

But Father, I am well aware
I can't make it on my own.
So take my hand and hold it tight
for I can't walk alone.

Thank you, Lord!

I pray this in Jesus' mighty name.
Amen

Moments_It's Time

It's Time...

yeah, I guess It's already time...

It's time to share where I live the things that I love to do and the places that I have been to...

It's time to share the people that I love and the environment where I moved...

It's about time to share and to tell...

It's time to share my thoughts in Tagalog...

It's indeed the time...

and I don't want that time to pass...

and I don't want that time to be left idle...

I want to take part in that time...

Moving Part

Just recently, on the operations floor...

moving and leaving is the hardest part...

why do I say moving?

As decided by the management a number of my colleagues will be transferred to a different account...

they mentioned that it was because of an integrity issue that I am unable to fully understand.

it's really sad knowing that these colleagues of mine taught me easy ways to execute your job. I will definitely miss those familiar faces that I will no longer see on the operations floor...

I'll gonna miss those small chitchats and laughing moments we had on the floor...

their decision is serious and strict...

the job that I do love...

saying Goodbye indeed is the hardest part to do...

For the record, my current AHT is 8 minutes...

Need to do everything or else na nga-ngamoy account transfer itoh...

Moments_Trying Tagalog

It's been a long time that I wish to have a Tagalog blog since this one is purely written in English.

I actually did some blog hopping to see where to house it, though still think that it would be time-consuming to post here then visit and post on the other...

Made up my mind after several readings and other blog visits I did, that it would be nowhere else but here...

I'll post some Tagalog and English moving forward.

You'll see me blogging in Tagalog na😁😁😁

Moments_I Believed

I believed
Our background and circumstances may have influenced who we are,
but we are responsible for who we become.

I believed
That no matter how good a friend is, they're going to hurt you every once in a while
and you must forgive them for that.

I believed
That just because someone doesn't love you the way you want them to,
doesn't mean they don't love you with all they have.

I believed That it's taking me a long time to become the person I want to be.

I believed
That you should always leave loved ones with loving words.
It may be the last time you see them.

I believed
That either you control your attitude or it controls you.

I believed
That money is a lousy way of keeping score.

I believed
Sometimes when I'm angry I have the right to be angry,
but that doesn't give me the right to be cruel.

I believed
That it isn't always enough to be forgiven by others.
Sometimes you have to learn to forgive yourself.

I believed
That no matter how bad your heart is broken,
the world doesn't stop for your grief.

I believed
That the people you care about most in life are taken from you too soon.

I believed
That life is more precious than money will ever be able to be.

Moments_Friendships

"If only I had a close friend... nobody seems to like me."

If you were in trouble or facing a difficult situation, who would you talk to about your problem?
A teacher, your parents?

Most teenagers like to talk to their friends.

What is a friend?

There are acquaintances, casual friendships, close friendships, and intimate friendships.

We all have acquaintances, faces we recognize, and people we greet by name. Casual friendships happen through continued contact.

Close friendships are developed through sharing of interests and spending time together in certain activities.

But intimate friendships are what everyone desires and needs.

These are friends that stay with us and are genuinely interested in what is best for us. They always tell us the truth, even if it hurts sometimes. But that's okay because they are interested in our well-being.

Who are your friends?
Are they just acquaintances, or intimate friends?
Sometimes our friends may let us down, but there is one thing that is sure.
Jesus wants to be your friend and if you accept His friendship, you will never be disappointed.

My Prayer:

Lord, I need a friend that I can count on no matter what. You said in the Bible that you would be our friend and would never leave us. Would you be that friend that I so desperately need? Thank you, Jesus, for the assurance of that promise.

Moments_Sex

"If it feels good do it, right?
Besides, we're in love."

Sex.
It's in the movies, commercials, and the music we listen to. It's suggested by the way people dress.
Sex is here to stay and it is a part of our life.

Believe it or not, sex was designed by God. God not only created man and woman differently physically for sex, but he also created them differently from other forms of animals. Men and women have the ability to think rationally and to feel emotional. Although sexual relationships result in children, God also intended for sex to be pleasurable.

Everything that God created has a purpose.
But everything that God created also had ordered. God's design for sex, therefore, needs to be understood in the context of marriage, love, and lifetime commitment. Otherwise, the relationship results in confusion, conflict, and chaos. Sex that is practiced out of God's plan often results in unwanted pregnancies, abortion, rape, and other forms of sexual abuse and various tragic diseases, including AIDS.

Jesus honored the marriage commitment. His first public miracle was performed at a wedding. Shortly afterward, he met a woman at a well who had led a very promiscuous life. She had been married five times and was living with a man who was not her husband. Jesus told her that there is an inner thirst that can only be satisfied by the "Living Water" that comes from God. He explained that seeking to fulfill inner desires with outward pleasures will never truly satisfy.

The good news is that Jesus does not condemn us for our past lifestyles not living in keeping with God's purposes. Those who choose to have sexual relations with their marriage partner for life will certainly receive lasting joy and pleasures.

My Prayer for this...

Loving Father, I thank you for creating me with purpose and order. Today I choose to live my sexual life in accordance with Your plans and will keep myself pure until marriage. Keep me from impure thoughts and temptations and help me to make the right choices based on Your Word and not to be influenced by what I hear and see in the world around me.

In Jesus' name
Amen

Moments_Love

"I really love this music."
"I'm in love."
"Let's make love."

There is a lot of talk about love. We use the words in different ways.
But what is love, really?

There is no power greater than love.
Psychologists say that the most basic human need is to be loved.
Love can motivate people to do things for people that they wouldn't normally do.
Love can cause young people to do foolish things at times.

Love gives meaning to people who would otherwise have no purpose in life.

But if love is such a beautiful thing, why is there so little love in the world?
Why is there so much hate?
The answer is simple.
True love is more than sentimental, gushy feelings.
It is a choice that each of us makes.
And true love can only come from GOD.

The greatest demonstration of love is to give our life to the person we love.
What loving Father wouldn't give his life so that his child might live?
God loved mankind so much that he sent Jesus.
His only Son, to die on the cross for our sins so that we might have life.

Love is the very essence of God.
So when men and women rebel against God by setting up their own value system and rejecting the authority of God, they lose the very source of true love, which is God.
Without love, even our religious activities become a lot of meaningful exercises.

God's love, however, is much greater than man's view of love.
While we love those who love us, the Bible tells us that we are to love even our enemies! God's love is giving love, and if we want true love in our hearts, we must be willing to give ourselves.

The greatest commandment is this: Love the Lord with all your heart, with all your mind, and with all your soul.

My prayer...

Thank you Father God for loving me.
I accept the demonstration of love YOU expressed through Jesus Christ.
Change my heart to be more loving of others and help me to show that love to others.
Amen.

Moments_Self-Esteem

"You're no good for anything." - Have you ever been told this?
"I'm ugly." "I'm no good at sports or in my work." - Have you ever told yourself this?

Perhaps you have even looked at yourself in the mirror and wished that you were someone else? Maybe a famous actor or sports hero? If you answer yes, you're in good company. Probably everyone who has ever lived wished that they could change at least one physical feature: their nose, their complexion. their height, weight-something...

But beautiful people can be scared in accidents. Some wealthy people are very insecure, always worried about losing their money or their possessions. Jesus, the Son of God, was offered all the riches of the world by Satan if only He would worship Satan. Jesus answered: "Worship the Lord your God, and serve Him only."

Jesus, also the greatest teacher who ever walked this earth, knows that Satan's strategy is to keep our focus off God and the importance of inward beauty and character. He taught His disciples that blessings, true happiness, and lasting benefits are the result of seeking first His kingdom and His righteousness.

If we rely on beauty, wealth, possessions, friendships, and other outward aspects of our life for our self-worth, we may find temporary fulfillment and happiness. But true, lasting worth can be measured only in spiritual terms.

My Prayer for this...

Thank you, God, for creating me in Your image, with a body, a soul, and a spirit. I choose to develop friendships that will help me focus on the inward beauty of character. Help me to understand Your purposes for my life that will bring true and lasting happiness. In Jesus' name- AMEN...

Moments_Be Thankful

Be thankful that you don't already have everything you desire. If you did, what would there be to look forward to?

Be thankful when you don't know something, for it gives you the opportunity to learn.

Be thankful for the difficult times. During those times you grow.

Be thankful for your limitations, because they give you opportunities for improvement.

Be thankful for each new challenge, because it will build your strength and character.

Be thankful for your mistakes. They will teach you valuable lessons.

Be thankful when you're tired and weary, because it means you've made a effort.

It's easy to be thankful for the good things. A life of rich fulfillment comes to those who are also thankful for the setbacks.

Gratitude can turn a negative into a positive. Find a way to be thankful for your troubles, and they can become your blessings.

Moments_Things to remember after eating

7 dont's after a meal

* Don't smoke-Experiment from experts proves that smoking a cigarette after meal is comparable to smoking 10 cigarettes (chances of cancer is higher).
* Don't eat fruits immediately - Immediately eating fruits after meals will cause stomach to be bloated with air. Therefore take fruit 1-2 hr after meal or 1hr before meal.

* Don't drink tea - Because tea leaves contain a high content of acid. This substance will cause the Protein content in the food we consume to be hardened thus difficult to digest.

* Don't loosen your belt - Loosening the belt after a meal will easily cause the intestine to be twisted &blocked.

* Don't bathe - Bathing will cause the increase of blood flow to the hands, legs & body thus the amount of blood around the stomach will therefore decrease. This will weaken the digestive system in our stomach.

* Don't walk about - People always say that after a meal walk a hundred steps and you will live till 99. In actual fact this is not true. Walking will cause the digestive system to be unable to absorb the nutrition from the food we intake.

* Don't sleep immediately - The food we intake will not be able to digest properly. Thus will lead to gastric & infection in our intestine.

Moments_Family

Just a little sharing about Family...

F A M I L Y

I ran into a stranger as he passed by,
'Oh excuse me please' was my reply.

He said, 'Please excuse me too;
I wasn't watching for you.'

We were very polite, this stranger and I.
We went on our way and we said goodbye.

But at home a different story is told,
How we treat our loved ones, young and old.

Later that day, cooking the evening meal,
My son stood beside me very still.

When I turned, I nearly knocked him down.
'Move out of the way,' I said with a frown.

He walked away, his little heart broken.
I didn't realize how harshly I'd spoken.

While I lay awake in bed,
God's still small voice came to me and said,

While dealing with a stranger,
common courtesy you use,
but the family you love, you seem to abuse.

Go and look on the kitchen floor,
You'll find some flowers there by the door.

Those are the flowers he brought for you.
He picked them himself: pink, yellow and blue.

He stood very quietly not to spoil the surprise,
you never saw the tears that filled his little eyes.'

By this time, I felt very small,
And now my tears began to fall.

I quietly went and knelt by his
bed; 'Wake up, little one, wake up,' I said.

Are these the flowers you picked for me?'
He smiled, 'I found 'em, out by the tree.

I picked 'em because they're pretty like you.
I knew you'd like 'em, especially the blue.'

I said, 'Son, I'm very sorry for the way I acted today;
I shouldn't have yelled at you that way.'
He said, 'Oh, Mom, that's okay.
I love you anyway.'

I said, 'Son, I love you too,
and I do like the flowers, especially the blue.'

FAMILY
Are you aware that if we died tomorrow, the company
that we are working for could easily replace us in
a matter of days.
But the family we left behind will feel the loss
for the rest of their lives.

And come to think of it, we pour ourselves more
into work than into our own family,
an unwise investment indeed,
don't you think?
So what is behind the story?

Do you know what the word FAMILY means?
FAMILY = (F)ATHER (A)ND (M)OTHER (I) (L)OVE (Y)OU

Moments_Advice on life

Here's another of Pastor Rick Warren's advice about life...

THE GREATEST ADVICE -Rick Warren, the Purpose Driven Life

Don't date because you are desperate.
Don't marry because you are miserable.Don't have kids because you think your genes are superior.
Don't philander because you think you are irresistible.

Don't associate with people you can't trust.
Don't cheat. Don't lie. Don't pretend.
Don't dictate because you are smarter.
Don't demand because you are stronger.

Don't sleep around because you think you are old enough & know better.
Don't hurt your kids because loving them is harder.
Don't sell yourself, your family, or your ideals.
Don't stagnate!

Don't regress.
Don't live in the past. Time can't bring anything or anyone back.
Don't put your life on hold for possibly Mr. Right.
Don't throw your life away on absolutely Mr. Wrong because your
biological clock is ticking.

Learn a new skill.
Find a new friend.
Start a new career.
Sometimes, there is no race to be won, only a price to be paid for some of life's more hasty decisions.

To terminate your loneliness, reach out to the homeless.
To feed your nurturing instincts, care for the needy.
To fulfill your parenting fantasies, get a puppy.
Don't bring another life into this world for all the wrong reasons.

To make yourself happy, pursue your passions & be the best of what you can be.
Simplify your life. Take away the clutter.
Get rid of destructive elements: abusive friends, nasty habits, and
dangerous liaisons.
Don't abandon your responsibilities but don't overdose on duty.

Don't live life recklessly without thought and feeling for your family.
Be true to yourself.
Don't commit when you are not ready.
Don't keep others waiting needlessly.

Go on that trip. Don't postpone it.
Say those words. Don't let the moment pass.
Do what you have to, even at society's scorn.

Write poetry.
Love Deeply.
Walk barefoot.
Dance with wild abandon.
Cry at the movies.

Take care of yourself. Don't wait for someone to take care of you.
You light up your life.
You drive yourself to your destination.
No one completes you - except YOU.

It isn't true that life does not get easier with age.
It only gets more challenging.
Don't be afraid. Don't lose your capacity to love.
Pursue your passions.

Live your dreams.
Don't lose faith in God.
Don't grow old. Just grow YOU!

When you give someone your time, you are giving them a portion of your life that you'll never get back.
Your time is your life. That is why the greatest gift you can give to
someone is your time.
Relationships take time and effort, and the best way to spell love is
T-I-M-E because the essence of love is not what we think or do or provide for others, but how much we give of ourselves

God is good all the time!

Rick Warren - (REMEMBER HE WROTE 'PURPOSE DRIVEN LIFE')

You will enjoy the new insights that Rick Warren has, with his wife now having cancer and him having 'wealth' from the book sales. This is an absolutely incredible short interview with Rick Warren,

"Purpose Driven Life" author and pastor of Saddleback Church in California

In the interview by Paul Bradshaw with Rick Warren, Rick said:

People ask me, What is the purpose of life? And I respond: In a nutshell, life is preparation for eternity. We were not made to last forever, and God wants us to be with Him in Heaven.

One day my heart is going to stop, and that will be the end of my body-- but not the end of me.

I may live 60 to 100 years on Earth, but I am going to spend trillions of years in eternity. This is the warm-up act - the dress rehearsal. God wants us to practice on earth what we will do forever in eternity.

We were made by God and for God, and until you figure that out, life isn't going to make sense.

Life is a series of problems: Either you are in one now, you're just coming out of one, or you're getting ready to go into another one.

The reason for this is that God is more interested in your character than your comfort.

God is more interested in making your life holy than He is in making your life happy.

We can be reasonably happy here on earth, but that's not the goal of life. The goal is to grow in character, in Christ-likeness.

This past year has been the greatest year of my life but also the toughest, with my wife, Kay, getting cancer.

I used to think that life was hills and valleys - you go through a dark time, then you go to the mountaintop, back and forth. I don't believe that anymore.

Rather than life being hills and valleys, I believe that it's kind of like two rails on a railroad track, and at all times you have something good and something bad in your life.

No matter how good things are in your life, there is always something bad that needs to be worked on.

And no matter how bad things are in your life, there is always something good you can thank God for.

You can focus on your purposes, or you can focus on your problems.

If you focus on your problems, you're going into self-centeredness,' which is my problem, my issues, my pain.' But one of the easiest ways to get rid of pain is to get your focus off yourself and onto God and others.

We discovered quickly that in spite of the prayers of hundreds of thousands of people, God was not going to heal Kay or make it easy for her.

It has been very difficult for her, and yet God has strengthened her character, given her a ministry of helping other people, given her a testimony, and drawn her closer to Him and to people.

You have to learn to deal with both the good and the bad of life.

Actually, sometimes learning to deal with the good is harder. For instance, this past year, all of a sudden, when the book sold 15 million copies, it made me instantly very wealthy.

It also brought a lot of notoriety that I had never had to deal with before. I don't think God gives you money or notoriety for your own ego or for you to live a life of ease.

So I began to ask God what He wanted me to do with this money, notoriety, and influence. He gave me two different passages that helped me decide what to do, II Corinthians 9 and Psalm 72

First, in spite of all the money coming in, we would not change our lifestyle one bit. We made no major purchases.

Second, about midway through last year, I stopped taking a salary from the church.

Third, we set up foundations to fund an initiative we call The Peace Plan to plant churches, equip leaders, assist the poor, care for the sick, and educate the next generation.

Fourth, I added up all that the church had paid me in the 24 years since I started the church, and I gave it all back. It was liberating to be able to serve God for free.

We need to ask ourselves: Am I going to live for possessions? Popularity?

Am I going to be driven by pressures? Guilt? Bitterness? Materialism?
Or am I going to be driven by God's purposes (for my life)?

When I get up in the morning, I sit on the side of my bed and say, God, if I don't get anything else done today, I want to know You more and love You better. God didn't put me on earth just to fulfill a to-do list. He's more interested in what I am than what I do.
That's why we're called human beings, not human doings.

Happy moments, PRAISE GOD.
Difficult moments, SEEK GOD.
Quiet moments, WORSHIP GOD.
Painful moments, TRUST GOD.
Every moment, THANK GOD.
God's Blessings on you today.

Moments_Truth to Remember

1. Faith is the ability to not panic.

2. If you worry, you didn't pray. If you pray, don't worry.

3. As a child of God, prayer is kind of like calling home every day.

4. Blessed are the flexible, for they shall not be bent out of shape.

5. When we get tangled up in our problems, be still. God wants us to be still so He can untangle the knot.

6. Do the math. Count your blessings.

7. God wants spiritual fruit, not religious nuts.

8. Dear God: I have a problem. It's me.

9. Silence is often misinterpreted, but never misquoted.

10. Laugh every day, it's like inner jogging.

11. The most important things in your home are the people.

12. Growing old is inevitable, growing up is optional.

13. There is no key to happiness. The door is always open.

14. A grudge is a heavy thing to carry.

15. He who dies with the most toys is still dead.

16. We do not remember days, but moments. Life moves too fast, so enjoy your precious moments.

17. Nothing is real to you until you experience it, otherwise, it's just hearsay.

18. It's all right to sit on your pity pot every now and again. Just be sure to flush when you are done.

19. Surviving and living your life successfully requires courage. The goals and dreams you're seeking require courage and risk-taking. Learn from the turtle -- it only makes progress when it sticks out its neck.

20. Be more concerned with your character than your reputation. Your character is what you really are while your reputation is merely what
others think you are.
