Rainy Season Just Startin'

And it feels like rain
So batten down the hatches, baby
Leave your heart out on your sleeve
It looks like we're in for stormy weather
That ain't no cause for us to leave
Just lie here in my arms
And let it wash away the pain

"The rainy season is a symphony of nature's tears, where the sky weeps and the Earth rejoices, as droplets of rejuvenation cascade upon us, nurturing both the land and our souls."

"With the arrival of the rainy season, the world transforms into a watercolor masterpiece, where every drop of rain paints vibrant strokes across the canvas of life, refreshing and renewing all that it touches."

"In the midst of the rainy season, the heavens open up, gifting us with a gentle deluge that washes away our worries and whispers serenity into our hearts, reminding us of the beauty found in surrendering to the rhythm of nature."

Oh, this is a gloomy Makati City today. . .
la, la, la, la. . . .

This is actually my favorite part of the year- Rainy Season
I just love the smell of fresh earth watered by the sky...

"Rainy weather carries with it a sense of nostalgia, as the pitter-patter of raindrops on rooftops evokes memories of cozy evenings spent by the fire, sipping hot cocoa, and losing ourselves in the enchantment of a good book."

"The rainy season is mother nature's lullaby, as the rhythmic melody of rainfall soothes our restless minds, inviting us to slow down, reflect, and find solace in the gentle embrace of the storm."

"In the embrace of rainy weather, the world appears to slow down, as if nature herself is urging us to pause, take a deep breath, and find beauty in the simplest moments, be it the reflection of city lights on wet pavements or the shimmering dance of raindrops on leaves."

POLA Chinese Hot Pot

The gangs were looking for a Ramen tonight and we bumped into this newly opened Hot Pot outlet inside Vista Mall Las Piñas.

We're all a bit worried about this cause it is more Chinese in writing and maybe little ones will not like it, however, we gave it a try.

Their servers were all Filipino and they hand us a flyer-like menu and advise us that for as cheap as Php 150.00 we could have our hot pot already. Chinese writings and good thing there's an English translation.

I asked Ate how to order and make our own hot pot.
She taught us that we only need to tick the box for our selection. If you are familiar with Ramen Nagi it's just like this.

The 1st upper left portion that has a D stands for Dine In then T for Take Out then on the right portion is your customer order number that will be given to you by the server once you asked for their menu.

Then came the Drinks selection

Under Seasoning are the soup base of your choice
Soup Base Selection - Spicy Hot Pot Soup/Fresh Mushroom Soup/New-this stands for a plain soup

Your Hot Pot ingredients will actually depend on your choices of noodles, ingredients, and vegetables.

Each ingredient do have an accompanying price that you can see on the right portion of each selection the one that has 40P this stand for Php 40.00

The total amount of your hot pot depends on the price of your selected ingredients.

This would be difficult for newbie customers cause they do not have a finished ingredient combination that you could choose like seafood hot pot or beef hot pot or pork or chicken or vegetables. This is a DIY meal that I will not recommend for customers who are hungry and would not have the patience to think of their meal ingredients anymore.

Ingredients can be combined all together whichever you liked it. I advise my kiddos if they want beef all they need to choose will be ingredients with beef then add a little vegetable and that goes with seafood, pork, vegetables, and chicken for a better distinct taste.

It took us a while to decide for each meal all created based on the preference of the kiddos. We got our orders and the kiddos enjoyed their choice of meal.

What's my verdict???

Likes- well-lighted and ventilated/accommodating staff most especially the girl who explained to us how to create our hot pot/ accepts a senior citizen discount/large servings that will satisfy your cravings/good value for money/acceptable order waiting time/

Dislikes- limited dining space/all were in plastic except the chopsticks- we should start being user-friendly/

Rainy Friday Morning

I'm singin' in the rain
Just singin' in the rain,

What a glorious feeling,
And I'm happy again.

I'm laughing at clouds
So dark, up above,

The sun's in my heart
And I'm ready for love.

"The mesmeric allure of the rainy season lies not only in the sight of raindrops falling from the heavens but also in the sweet fragrance that fills the air, as Earth's aromas are released from their slumber, creating a sensory symphony that delights both the nose and the soul."

Morning shift today and enjoyed the rain in Sycip Park before heading to the office.

I indeed love the sweet sound of the pouring rain in the earth...

"During the rainy season, the earth becomes a playground for romance, as couples stroll hand in hand under shared umbrellas and steal kisses amidst fallen raindrops, finding beauty in the intimacy that rain-soaked streets provide."

"As the rainy season blankets the world in its watery embrace, it offers a reminder that even amidst dark skies and stormy weather, there is always a silver lining waiting to reveal itself, bringing with it newfound growth, resilience, and hope."

Las Piñas City Public Market

Went to the market today with Mamita and bought some fish, veggies, and other goodies.

I took some photos and would love to share them with you guys on this page of mine.

Just the other day I got some new updates on my Samsung phone system and the good thing about it is that pictures have been put into motion.

When I viewed it in Google Photos it does move, however, if you enhance it, it'll lose its moving capability. So no more photo edits for now. . .

You could view the entire album on this link. . . 06.27.19_To Market

Osaka Takoyaki

Ramen night with Sissy today.

After paying household utilities, Apol called Pei and asked if we could hang out today.

Due to the cold weather, we are experiencing lately, we decided to delve our appetite into ramen and something Japanese today.

After some ramen house searching, we settled down with Osaka Takoyaki inside SM Hypermarket near Las Piñas city hall.

We ordered the following menu:
Pork Tonkatsu Curry- 290.00 Php
Lunch Set- 380.00 Php
 Spicy Tonkatsu Ramen+Takoyaki+Rootbeer
Lunch Set- 380.00 Php
 Tonkatsu Ramen+Yakionigiri+Rootbeer
Yakisoba Mix Special- 320.00 Php
Cheese Takoyaki 170.00 Php

Verdict:
Menu Prices were competitive with other Ramen houses in town.
Order time is acceptable like 10-15 mins preparation
The area is well-lighted and ventilated however not the inner portion of the ramen house.
I really liked their saver meal that includes a side dish and beverage. For me, this is a plus since you were able to enjoy your main meal with extras that could save you money.
The waitress is very well accommodating
