Giligans C5 Extension

Had dinner here today with my family and I can say that it was a good experience. I have been familiar with Giligan's even before and dined in several of their restos in different places. This one is close to home- just walking distance from home :). LIKES: resto place is very accessible, location-wise close to a memorial park/nearby villages, menus are very Filipino, very affordable-they have a Php 99 meal with unlimited rice, group meals were also available that is indeed a very good catch on your pocket, dishes were all appealing, menu book contains pictures to help you visualize your expectations on their menus which is indeed very good, love their interior, comfortable place, courteous staff that would welcome you as soon as you stepped inside their resto, lighting is indeed good, ample parking space, the staff gives suggestions on their menus which I find it really good. DISLIKES: they will not offer you soup not unless you ask for it, A few waiters available on the ops floor will make you wait a little longer.

2. Ambience: The restaurant's ambiance is casual, relaxed, and family-friendly, making it a popular choice for gatherings, celebrations, or simply enjoying a delicious meal with friends and loved ones. Ramen Kuroda

Been here last February 22, 2017, and had dinner with my family. We tried their famous noodle bowls and bento meals which I found really yummy and tasty.

LIKES: they have children's meal that make any child feel important because of the meal intended for them, unlimited noodles(depends on the branch and promo from time to time), good ambiance, courteous staff, dishes served fresh and newly cooked, affordable and food can be shared.

DISLIKES: Small space for parking, uncomfortable waiting area, less staff to assist or perhaps they were all busy and the place is jammed pack when we ate our dinner.

Keep it up, I hope on my next visit I could give you 5 Stars and 5 Spoons.

Pililla Wind Farm

See Wikipedia for other details.

Open until 6PM only / NO ENTRANCE FEE / NO PARKING LOT FEE

Love this place. Makes me so close to nature. Although this place opened a year ago to the public, I can say that this will be a hit to travelers who wish to see the Ilocos Windmill less the long-hour journey there. Very accessible and indeed so close to Manila and the city.

This is a close getaway from the noisy, polluted, and populated metro. A good substitute for the windmill of Ilocos. Plus, I indeed love the sunset from this point. Very dramatic and lovely. For sure, this will be commercialized in the coming days, and more establishments will be seen sprouting around the area. As of this writing, there are no hotels/motels, more mountain ranges, tall grass, mango trees, and less traffic.

LIKES: ambiance, very cold due to the wind, close to nature, a good substitute to Ilocos Windmill, near to the city,  smooth road going up to the mountains, less traffic, the place is not yet popular so you have to visit this the soonest, NO ENTRANCE FEE!! - so you better hurry guys, CR is already in place, resto will be opened soon, and the parking lot is FREE of Charge, overlooking the city.

DISLIKES: no road lights and indeed very dangerous to drivers who do not know the area, there are a lot of turns and slopes up and down, as of this writing- there has been a bus accident near the area see this link for the full story- Philstar Tanay Bus Accident, roads are a little narrow- so do not dare to attempt over-taking as the place is dangerous and accident-prone.

Sunset in Pililia Rizal

'Tis the sunset of life gives me mystical lore, And coming events cast their shadows before.

The setting sun was taken from the mountains of Pililia Rizal

"In the brilliance of the setting sun, we find inspiration to let go of past sorrows and embrace the promise of a new day."

"Sunsets are a natural spectacle that humbles us, reminding us of our place in the vastness of the universe and the transient nature of our existence."
