Travel_MANMARU

Were' supposed to visit a storeroom shoe sale in MileLong today and upon arrival in the area, it was jammed packed with people waiting for their turn in choosing/buying their shoes. Lines were too long and a 1-hour lunch break will be consumed lining up and waiting.

Quite sad on this, so we decided to take our lunch 1st then go back to check if the lines did move or have improvements. We accidentally saw this place located in the corner portion of Makati Square in front of the 2nd gate of little Tokyo. I never heard of this and decided to give this place a try.

This is Manmaru, a Japanese restaurant in the heart of Makati City.
What I liked in the place were as follows;

LIKES:
-Well lighted
-Well ventilated
-Clean and neat
-Cozy Place and ambiance
-Authentic Japanese Cuisine
-Good Value for Money
-Huge eating space, they also cater to private functions
-Free Cold Tea
-Wide Variety of Menus to choose from
-Accepts Cash and Credit Card

DISLIKES:
-Does not serve water
-Limited Parking Space

This place is spacious, well lighted and ventilated.

I really liked their palochina wood tables and chairs that added life to their dining area.

Those Japanese paper lamps and the yellow-colored lights were indeed good that adds a vibrant feel to the place.

This is their un-used table equip with a menu book, condiments, chopsticks, and wet towels.

What I also loved in this place is their cleanliness...their tables, chairs, and floors were all clean.

Also, like their makeshift bamboo ceiling.

The ceiling is not entirely covered yet those bamboo gives it life as well as those lights.

The entirety of the place is like bringing you into a local Japanese resto in Japan.

Another thing is that it's an IG worthy place...

They have a wide variety of Menus to choose from.

I really liked that their menus were group together like Chef's Recommendations, Breakfast, Lunch, etc...

Manmaru Menu

I give their menu here 5 spoons, why?

Because they have a wide variety of menus that you could choose from.

I have never been into any Japanese restaurant that does have this huge menu selection and indeed this one is a happy place for me. For those who wanted to explore their taste buds, I highly recommend this place. Their Menu will not disappoint from their chicken, beef, pork, sashimi, ramen maki to name a few. All are well laid out in their menu book with colorful pictures, prices, and a short description.

It will make your eyes drool as you made your choices.

We ordered Beef Sukiyaki good for 4 pax
This huge meal is only Php 699.00 indeed a good value for your money.
What I liked about this meal is that the sumptuous servings and the broth are very tasty.

I do love the tofu used in this, it melted in your mouth, and then it tastes like taho.

Kushi Katsu Moriawase
10pcs for only Php 399.00

Japanese Garlic Fried Rice
Php 69.00

Unlimited cold tea for Free

We enjoyed eating here, the service is fast, clean and great food

Another thing, their servers were clean and accommodating.

This is the other part of the resto for a private gathering. I asked one of the servers and was told that this side of the resto is for customers who prefer a more quiet and intimate eating experience, for a bigger function, and for a closed-door dine-in experience.

Available upon customer's request.

These are the rooms that I am talking about.

Use for a private function, an intimate dine-in experience that you could request if you really wanted to have that moment all by yourself and/or with your special someone.

The artificial bamboo walls, palochina wood ceiling, and room division give that strong Japanese vibes in this area.

The room interior of this side of the resto is cool which makes you feel that you were in Japan that very moment you stepped a foot inside.

Cleanliness is well observed in this place.
Even their restrooms are no exceptions.

Indeed, we had a great dine-in experienced in this place.
We'll come back and definitely recommend this place.

5 spoons for this place.
