St. John Don Bosco Church Makati

I normally passed by this church upon entering Makati from the south skyway. And indeed fascinated by its arched roof that covered the church.

It was only the other day when we decided to drop by and visit to see the church's interior. I won't forget that one sunny Sunday almost getting dark when we went to see this place.

There are a lot of people going in and out of the church gate since it is a Sunday and the area is indeed busy.

As I came closer to the church, my eyes were captivated by the interior design. It's dome is like a giant crusty waffle ceiling perfectly cooked and ready to eat. The altar was all lighted and with all the glitter as it was during high mass when we arrived.

I took photos of course lots of them actually that will definitely share here in my blog😊.

St. John Bosco Church, located in Makati City, is a stunning place of worship that holds great historical and cultural significance. Named after Saint John Bosco, also known as Don Bosco, the church follows its mission of supporting and guiding young people.

One of the unique features of the St. John Bosco Church is its iconic Waffle Dome. The Waffle Dome is a structural element that distinguishes this church from others, as it resembles a waffle-shaped design with intricate patterns. This dome adds a touch of modernity to the church's architecture while still maintaining a sense of reverence and spirituality.

The Waffle Dome is not only visually striking but also serves a functional purpose. It allows natural light to filter through, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere within the church. Additionally, its design helps with the effective distribution of sound during religious ceremonies, ensuring that everyone can hear and participate fully in the mass. The dome truly adds a unique and memorable touch to the overall ambiance of St. John Bosco Church.

This remarkable architectural feature, combined with the church's rich history and dedication to serving the community, makes St. John Bosco Church a cherished place of worship for both locals and visitors alike.
