St. John Don Bosco Church Makati

I normally passed by this church upon entering Makati from the south skyway. And indeed fascinated by its arched roof that covered the church.

It was only the other day when we decided to drop by and visit to see the church's interior. I won't forget that one sunny Sunday almost getting dark when we went to see this place.

There are a lot of people going in and out of the church gate since it is a Sunday and the area is indeed busy.

As I came closer to the church, my eyes were captivated by the interior design. It's dome is like a giant crusty waffle ceiling perfectly cooked and ready to eat. The altar was all lighted and with all the glitter as it was during high mass when we arrived.

I took photos of course lots of them actually that will definitely share here in my blog😊.

St. John Bosco Church, located in Makati City, is a stunning place of worship that holds great historical and cultural significance. Named after Saint John Bosco, also known as Don Bosco, the church follows its mission of supporting and guiding young people.

One of the unique features of the St. John Bosco Church is its iconic Waffle Dome. The Waffle Dome is a structural element that distinguishes this church from others, as it resembles a waffle-shaped design with intricate patterns. This dome adds a touch of modernity to the church's architecture while still maintaining a sense of reverence and spirituality.

The Waffle Dome is not only visually striking but also serves a functional purpose. It allows natural light to filter through, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere within the church. Additionally, its design helps with the effective distribution of sound during religious ceremonies, ensuring that everyone can hear and participate fully in the mass. The dome truly adds a unique and memorable touch to the overall ambiance of St. John Bosco Church.

This remarkable architectural feature, combined with the church's rich history and dedication to serving the community, makes St. John Bosco Church a cherished place of worship for both locals and visitors alike.

Royce Tea

Visited this Milk Tea the other day with Fiel Tumale.

Royce Milktea
Home of hand-crafted cheese tea

Likes:
Well lighted
Well Ventilated
Nice dug-out space
Milk Tea is creamy and what separates this from the rest is the cheese that they include in their drinks.
The price is kinda expensive
Love their re-usable plastic mug
Clean and nice smelling ambiance inside the store

Dislikes:
Staff are not that friendly and not even accommodating
No Parking Space
Small waiting area

Kinda love the dug-out feel of their store.

This will greet you once you decend on the stairs

The place is well-lighted and ventilated.

Lovin' this area of the store.

While on the other side is this one.
Those huge test tubes make a focal point that something to talk about and be curious of.

During our stay, the staff barely face us and does not make any connection to us at all. They might be tired that day, and they seldom smile 😊😊

You know for sure how a store attendant changes the mood of the store. When being greeted and welcome right it gives a feeling of belongings in the place.

Love their Menu selections

They also have their menus written in Chinese

Their best seller graces their wall.

Me and buddy Fiel while waiting for our orders.

That super cute small mug that they are offering.
This one is smaller that the normal small size milktea.

Gloomy Makati City

Gloomy Makati City today

We experienced scattered rain showers today that give the entire metro a little freshness.

"The magic of the rainy season lies not just in the fulfillment of parched landscapes, but also in the way it unveils a hidden world teeming with life. From the symphony of croaking frogs to the vibrant hues of blooming flowers, rainwater breathes life into the very essence of nature itself."

"As the rainy season blankets the world in its watery embrace, it offers a reminder that even amidst dark skies and stormy weather, there is always a silver lining waiting to reveal itself, bringing with it newfound growth, resilience, and hope."

"The mesmeric allure of the rainy season lies not only in the sight of raindrops falling from the heavens but also in the sweet fragrance that fills the air, as Earth's aromas are released from their slumber, creating a sensory symphony that delights both the nose and the soul."

"Skyscrapers are the architectural marvels that challenge the sky, pushing the boundaries of human achievement."

"In the realm of skyscrapers, steel and glass become poetry, telling stories of ambition and progress."

"The beauty of skyscrapers lies not just in their towering presence, but in the dreams they inspire."
