St. John Don Bosco Church Makati

I normally passed by this church upon entering Makati from the south skyway. And indeed fascinated by its arched roof that covered the church.

It was only the other day when we decided to drop by and visit to see the church's interior. I won't forget that one sunny Sunday almost getting dark when we went to see this place.

There are a lot of people going in and out of the church gate since it is a Sunday and the area is indeed busy.

As I came closer to the church, my eyes were captivated by the interior design. It's dome is like a giant crusty waffle ceiling perfectly cooked and ready to eat. The altar was all lighted and with all the glitter as it was during high mass when we arrived.

Travel_Tanay Church | San Idelfonso de Toledo Church

Another iconic place to visit when you are in Tanay Rizal is the Tanay Church. 

Located in the middle of the town lies the old church known as the San Idelfonso de Toledo Church. The church serves as one of the economic symbols of a flourishing town way back during the Spanish era. One of the oldest church known in our country and declared as a National Cultural Treasure Church by the National Commission for Culture and the Arts in 2001.

San Idelfonso de Toledo Church

I loved the raw rocky solid walls of this church, it made me walked down in memory lane just like in Intramuros Manila. Those little greens growing on the church bell tower gives a very historic feel of life's simplicity way back then- no wall paints, no plastered cement or anything that makes those little lives blossomed from its walls.

What caught my attention is the life-size statue carved out of wood from the body of the tree stood outside the church ground. It is very creative and you could definitely say that each detail was chisel with precise care to build this masterpiece.

Like in any other old Hispanic church, there are also niche inside located on every corner post.

What also captured me in visiting this church is the inside patio of the church which gives me a Barcelona feels. An IG/picture-worthy visit for photo enthusiasts like me that makes me can't help captured it in my lenses.
