Bohol Bee Farm is not included on the normal Bohol Day Tour as this is out of the way. This is located in Dao, Dauis Bohol, Bohol Bee Farm has a lot to offer.
Located in Panglao Island cliff side property overlooking the ocean of Panglao, thus giving you the best view all throughout the day. It may not have a sandy shore like any other hotel offers however you still have access to enjoy and swim in the open sea.

The bee farm does not have a shoreline, however, when water is low an instant shoreline appears.
The seawater was so clear, not cold, and looks very inviting.
Indeed, what a lovely view from where I am standing.
There's a massage area where you could relax and lie down to enjoy the day.

We attended the Farm Tour with other visitors today, it's actually a walking tour. Our tour guide walked us through and explained to us how Bohol Bee Farm contributed to society. Organic farming is just one of the many things they encourage to do and profit from it. Livelihoods such as baking, embroidery, and crafts are just a few to mention.
He explained to us how to culture bees and collect the products the hive produces.
The tour is very educational that will make you aware of the importance of backyard organic gardening/farming. Livelihood activities were also been discussed on how the farm gave back to their community.
Did you know that Beekeepers use smoke to calm bees when they are collecting honey or relocating a hive?
Let me give you some bee facts 😊
- Bees live in colonies that contain the queen bee, the worker bee, and the drone.
- The worker bee and the queen bee are both females, but only the queen bee can reproduce.
- All drones are male.
- Worker bees clean the hive, collecting pollen and nectar to feed the colony and they take care of the offspring.
- The drone’s only job is to mate with the queen.
- The queen’s only job is to lay eggs.
Bees see all colors except the color red 💓.
That and their sense of smell help them find the flowers they need to collect pollen.
Honey bees live in hives (or colonies).

Honey bees are super-important pollinators for flowers, fruits, and vegetables.

Little kiddo indulging herself on charcoal ice cream from Bohol Bee Farm.
We left Bohol Farm with the desire of returning and spending time here. Our experience here left us with good memories that we will carry with us going home to Manila. Our visit here does not disappoint and indeed very educational.
