The Hidden Falls of Bolinao

I named this 3rd falls the Hidden Beauty/Hidden Falls of Bolinao. Why do I say so? it is because this fall is less visited, less crowded, and less featured falls among the 3 falls of Bolinao. This is the farthest falls, it will take you at least another 40-45 minutes to tricycle drive from the 2nd falls. Another at least 5-8 minutes hiking before reaching the main falls yet it is a Beauty to behold.

The entrance fee is Php 20.00 and the parking fee is Php 50.00 When you reach the bottom, there are also cottages/kubo where you could stay for a fee of Php10.00-250.00 depending on the size of the kubo.

It was almost 2PM when we reached this place and we saw a handful of teenage boys swimming in the falls. Oh, I fell in love with this one! Since there are only 8 people plus 4 as guests in this place, I appreciate the place more than the other two previous falls. Awwwsss, the calmness of the water, how serene and tranquil the entire place was, and I really, really loved the colors of the water blended into the entire surroundings.

The place is indeed an Instagram-worthy location. The entire falls is a very good background for your pictures taken in any / every angle I may say. This 3rd falls though how far it may seem and steep to reach is very worthy of my time and really, really does not disappoint me and my chums.

Bolinao Falls 2

Can't get enough of the 1st Bolinao falls?

I and my chums headed for the 2nd falls, excited and thrilled about what lies ahead of us. Surely the photos I showed them online could be something else yet kept telling myself and them to manage their expectations. Expectations versus Reality as always could be heartbreaking and that is what I always tell myself not to expect too much.

The falls might look magnificent in the pictures and won't be in reality. However, this 2nd falls does not disappoint us! Whoa, that is all I can say. the falls right in front of me could be crowded yet it holds the beauty it possesses in pictures. Oh, wow! I didn't wait any longer and found myself immersed in the pool of clean and cold water of Bolinao Falls 2.

This fall is at least 30 minutes away from the 1st Falls via tricycle. When the 1st one gets too crowded to swim to- for sure this falls as well- since this one is closer.

The Entrance Fee is Php 20.00 as of our visit to this place 30Nov2017. The parking fee is Php 50.00. There is also a nearby CR that you could use for changing into dry clothes and kubo for your stuff and food was also available for a fee of Php 100.00 to 250.00 pesos.

You will be climbing downs some series of man-made rock stairs below reaching the falls. and this requires some of your hiking abilities cause it could make your legs hurt a bit if you are not used to a much longer hiking spree :)

Bolinao Falls 1

Aside from the lovely Patar Beach, Bolinao also offers captivating falls. There are 3 falls in Bolinao that you could satisfy your adventures.

Bolinao Falls 1

This falls is the closest and the 1st one among the falls to reach. It will take you at least a 30-minute drive via tricycle from the town proper. The tallest of all of the falls and the 2nd most crowded on and off-peak season.

The trail going to these falls would only take you 8-10 minutes to reach the bottom. You could hear the splashing water at the top before heading down the trail.

Upon reaching the falls there are kubos hut where you could take a shade from the sun. Life vest and lifebuoy were available for Php 50.00 with no time limit. A CR is available at the upper portion of the trail before reaching the falls- fee in using the CR is Php 5.00
