Finding Solace in the Desert: My Journey with Cacti 🌵 

In a fast-paced world governed by constant demands and distractions, finding solace in nature has become essential for many individuals seeking an escape. As a self-proclaimed Plantita, I recently discovered the immense joy and tranquility that comes from cultivating and caring for cacti. Their unique characteristics, low maintenance requirements, and the sense of peace they bring have allowed me to tap into my inner gardener and find respite amidst the chaos of everyday life.



The Ease of Maintenance:
Cacti are renowned for their ability to thrive in arid environments, making them the perfect choice for those seeking low-maintenance plant companions. With their water-storing capabilities and robust adaptations to harsh conditions, cacti require minimal attention compared to other houseplants. Angono Petroglyphs

The Angono Petroglyphs are a significant archaeological site located in Barangay San Pedro, Angono, Rizal, Philippines. These ancient rock carvings have earned the recognition of being the oldest known artworks in the country and have been declared as a national cultural treasure.

Dating back to around 3000 B.C., the petroglyphs were discovered by National Artist Carlos "Botong" Francisco in 1965. The site is composed of a large rock wall, measuring about 63 meters long and about eight meters high. It features over 127 individual engravings depicting various figures and symbols, believed to be created by our ancient ancestors using stone tools.

The engravings found at the Angono Petroglyphs showcase a wide range of subjects, including human figures, animals such as lizards and frogs, and geometric shapes. Some interpretations suggest that these carvings represent early forms of communication, relating to hunting practices, spiritual beliefs, or even rituals performed by the ancient inhabitants of the area.

Updated Google Blog Maps

Since last Saturday 18 Nov 2023 google Maps site https://www.embedgooglemap.net stopped working with no known reason. It just stops loading with an advised of "The Content of the page cannot be displayed".   

This is sad since I have been using this site to link a map on my post and their feature was great. 

Google map for Blogs already stopped their service for a while in 2019 and this site https://www.embedgooglemap.net is my very good companion replacing Google Maps.

However, it's not uncommon for websites or online services to experience issues or changes over time. Technological advancements, updates to platforms, or decisions made by website owners can lead to changes in functionality or service availability.

Embedgooglemap.net is a website that provides users with a code generator for embedding Google Maps on their own websites. By using this tool, website owners can easily add interactive maps to their web pages, allowing visitors to view locations, get directions, and explore areas of interest.

The website offers a user-friendly interface where users can specify the location, zoom level, map size, and other customization options. After inputting the desired parameters, the website generates an HTML code that can be copied and pasted into the user's website HTML file or content management system.
