🌺💓🙏 Embracing God's Grace: My Life with Systemic Sclerosis 🌺💓🙏

Autoimmune diseases are chronic conditions in which one's immune system attacks healthy cells in the body by mistake, causing inflammation, and severe damage to different organs.

Unfortunately, I was recently diagnosed with an autoimmune disease, and it has been a stressful, challenging, and overwhelming experience.

At first, this news caught me off guard, and I wasn't ready for what was to come. However, as time went by, I realized how this condition has changed my outlook on life, my appreciation for the gift of life, and my relationship with God. Every day since my diagnosis has been a faith-building experience, and I am grateful still to the Lord.

I remember when I first visited the doctor. I was feeling weak, lethargic, and my muscles were aching, among other symptoms. I underwent numerous tests, and then came the verdict - "You have an autoimmune disease." My world came crashing down, and I went into isolation. I wasn't sure how to tell my family, and I didn't have the courage to face the truth.

  

However, through prayers and reading the scriptures, something began to shift in me. I realized that God didn't give me this condition as a punishment. Rather, it was an opportunity for me to grow spiritually, develop strength, and encourage others going through similar situations. I began to learn that being thankful to the Lord every day was the best approach to a better and more fulfilling life.

Now, even though I struggle with the symptoms that come with the disease, I am thankful still to the Lord every day. I am grateful for the days I wake up and accomplish simple tasks, and for my family, that has been supportive all through. Despite the unpredictable flare-ups and medical appointments, I am happy to have another day to live.

My diagnosis with an autoimmune disease may have changed my life forever, it changed my appearance but it has given me an appreciation for life and renewed my relationship with God. I am thankful for every single day that have, and I am determined to make the best of it. If you are going through a tough situation, know that with faith, hope, and thankfulness, you can conquer anything.

I am forever grateful and thankful to the Author and Giver of Life.

In the midst of the white powdery shorelines of Boracay, I left behind all worries from Manila and embraced another year of life with a heart full of gratitude.

As I basked in the beauty of this paradise, I felt blessed for every single day that the Lord had granted me.

Surrounded by the soothing sounds of the waves and the gentle caress of the ocean breeze, I reflected on the journey that led me to this moment. Each wave that kissed the shore seemed to whisper a message of hope and renewal, reminding me of the endless possibilities that lie ahead.



As the sun dipped below the horizon, painting the sky in hues of pink and orange, I closed my eyes and whispered a silent prayer of thanks. Thanks for the love of family and friends, for the gift of another year, and for the chance to experience the beauty of creation in a place like Boracay.

So here's to embracing life's blessings, cherishing each moment, and being grateful for the simple joys that make our hearts sing. Cheers to another year of life, filled with love, laughter, and endless adventures!

Today marked another year in my life. 

I am so grateful and thankful to the Lord Almighty for the life that HE gave me. There are no words that could ever express the joy and love and thankfulness that I have right now.

Advance Happy 7th Birthday Sweet Heart!!
