Isa ito sa pinaka paborito at kinagigiliwang movie talaga ng generation ko dahil sa sobrang ganda ng kuwento nito, yung mga tauhan pati na din yung setting, palitan ng linya and yung mismong mga suliranin na tinalakay sa pelikulang ito. 

Nung napanuod ko ito, parang biglang gusto kong pumunta ng Bicol at masilayan ang Mayon, ganda kase ng kapaligiran dun. Na parang ang sarap kumain ng laing mismo sa Bicol kesa dito sa loob ng bahay namin ha ha ha!

Ang galing ng acting nina Claudine Baretto, Aga Mulach sa movie na ito. Isama mo na din yung ibang cast na super sa support na ipinakita ng bawat character.

Sony: Galit ka din ba sa mga NPA, Bayaw?

Carl: they're no beter than mercenaries, mga tulisan, sa tagal na nila sa bundok hindi na nila alam kung anu pinag lalaban nila. Kung meron nga silang pinaglalaban. Dapat nga sa kanila bumaba dito at tumulong na lang sa poblema ng Pilipinas. But they done nothing but put us on a blacklist worldwide.

Carl: kailangan natin dito ng higanteng kawa at hinganteng braso na mag hahalo ng paella

Lena: Oo, kung hindi mahilaw matulad sa iyo.

Carl: Lena may poblema ba tayo

Lena: ang Pilipinas gaya nang sabi mo marami, ako wala. Ang sinasabi ko lang hilaw ka. Alanganing Pilipino, alanganing Amerikano. 

Carl: Teka, teka, sandali sandali. Me galit ka ba sa akin? Me kasalanan ba ako sa iyo?

Lena: Ikaw, anu bang kasalanan sa iyo ng mga tulisang sinasabi mo?

Carl: oh, that's it. Lena that's just my opinion. Opinion lan yun walang personalan.

Lena: Pwes, mali ang opinyon mo at tama pinepersonal ko. Ang alam ko kase sa mga namumundok na yan nasa bundok pa din sila ng Pilipinas.

Carl: ah, at ako wala? ako ang traidor

Lena: ikaw ang nag sabi nyan

Carl: pero yun din ang gusto mong sabihin kanina pa di ba?

Lena: hindi! gusto ko lang malaman mo na wala kang karapatang humusga sa kapwa mo Pilipino. Lalo na sa mga Pilipinong naiwan.

Carl: wala ka ring karapatang husgahan ako o ang mga Pilipinong nagsisialisan para lang mag hanap nang mas magandang buhay.

Lena: kung lahat ng Pilipino kagaya mo, wala nang maiiwan dito sa Pilipinas.

Lena: bakit pa kayo bumaba? alam nyo naman na maramig militar, maraming check point

Abel: kailangang kailangan na eh.

Carl: Lena?

Lena: Abel, kailangang madala ka sa ospital 

Abel: hindi na, daplis lang yun eh kailangan ko lang magpahinga. Bukas aalis dina naman ako. Lena, pasensiya na huh.

Carl: Lena, kukuha lang ako nang panglinis ng sugat huh saka nang makakain.

Abel: Adi, salamat huh

Lena: Salamat, salamat sa tulong mo

Carl: si Abel?

Lena: NPA sya

Carl: I'm sorry

Lena: kaeskwela ko mula pag-ka bata, kaibigang matalik

Carl: kaibigan lang?

Lena: Abel, Abel kapanu ka na?

Abel: may kasama akong nag hihintay sa gubat, Lena hanggang dito ka na lang

Papay: Nag tago ka nang kriminal sa lupain ko. Kapanu mo nagawa sa akin yun?

Lena: hindi kriminal ang taong ipaglaban ang sa tingin nya'y tama.

Carl: Lena okay ka lang?

Lena: bakit hindi? Pamilya ko to.

Carl: Grabeh talaga oh. Alam mo ba sa laot pa lang nabili na ng mga Intsik at Hapon yung malalaking isda. Kawawa naman tayong mga Pilipino lagi tayong naiisahan. Alam mo napanuod ko sa Discovery channel sa barko pa lang ginagawa nang delata yung mga huli nila. Alam mo pedeng dito pa galing yung mga isda na yun.

Carl: sayang, di hindi mo napanuod yung sa stress and distress na ang emotions ay puedeng maging cause ng cancer. dahil daw ang tao, tayo pag tinatago daw natin dito lahat ng galit at inis natin ma co confuse yung selves natin at pag nangyari yun sa katawan natin nag po produce sya ng chemical at yun ang nakakamatay. isang source nang cancer yun.

Carl: huy, kanina pa kita kinakausap hindi mo ako pinapansin. Ilabas mo yang nasa sa loob mo.

Lena: Carl, ayokong pag-usapan ang buhay ko.

Carl: yeah, okay naman, pwede na. Nakakapagod lang kase trabaho ka nang trabaho. At American Citizen ka pero hindi ka naman Americano. So kailangan parati mong patunayan sa sarili mo, araw araw patutunayan mo na parang kaya mo rin, parang magaling ka rin.

Carl: ikaw, ayaw mo bang pumunta dun?

Lena: highschool pa lang ako pinangarap ko nagn pumunta sa America.

Carl: o, anung nanyari?

Lena: ang sabi kase ni Papay, matatalino lang daw ang puedeng pumunta sa America gaya ni Manay Dang. 

Carl: God, Lena.. anung ginagawa sa iyo ng Tatay mo? You know what I'm beginning to hate your father.

Lena: Wag kang magsalita nang ganyan magiging biyenan mo rin yun.

CArl: Fuck you don't have to tell me that. Daladala ko pangalan nya. At dala dala ko yun hanggang sa mamatay ako. and that's his only contribution... that's his only contribution....dahil di mo alam pinag daanan ko ng mga kapatid ko at nang Nanay ko dahil sa kapabayaan ng taong yun. And for what? Ayun, namundok sya at nag NPA ipinag laban ang bayan at our expense, do you think that fair? You think that fair? 

Lena: I'm sorry Carl, hindi ko intensiyong makielam. Baka lang kase pag alis mo hindi na kayo mag-kita ule. Dala mo pa din yung galit sa puso mo. Natatakot lang ako para sa iyo, at para sa mga anak mo. Dahil darating din ang araw Carl, magiging isang ama ka rin. 

Ka Pinong: Pare pareho lang naman ang pag luto ng laing. pare pareho lang ng mga rekado. Pero siguro iba lang ang gata ko, punong puno ito ng pag-mamahal. Alam mo, ito ang paborito ng anak ko. Papay: bawiin mo yung ginawa mong pag-talikod sa pag-papari mo. Bawiin mo. Hanggat may oras pa.

Fr Ruben: (humugot nag isang malalim na hininga) hindi po Pay. Hindi ko na po babawiin. Gusto ko na pong mag-asawa..

Mamay: Susmaryosep!!

Sony: Sabi ko na nga ba babae lang yung dahilan eh

Papay: Sinung babae?

Mamay: kilala ba namin sya anak?

Mamay: diosko Ruben, anu bang nagawa namin?

Lena: May, kapag tinitingnan nyo ako nakikita nyo ba ang anak ninyo o nakikita nyo lang ang isang Lena?

Papay: Nag kamali ba ako nang pag-papalaki sa kanila? Sinira ko ba ang buhay ng mga anak natin?

Mamay: NAku Lena, mabuti na lang at duamting ka. Anugn gagawin natin? Jusko malaking kahihiyan ito. Pinadala ko na lahat ng mga imbitasyon. 

Carl: I'm sorry

Mamay: hindi iho, alam ko, alam ko si Criselda ang dahilan. Sinasabi ko na nga ba, it was all too good to be true. I knew it, I just knew it. After allo these years hindi pa din sya nag-babago.
