Kung Pao Pasta ๐Ÿ

- 8 oz spaghetti or linguine
- 2 chicken breasts, diced
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 2 tbsp hoisin sauce
- 2 tbsp rice vinegar
- 1 tbsp sesame oil
- 1 tbsp cornstarch
- 2 tsp sugar
- 1/4 cup water
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil
- 3 garlic cloves, minced
- 1/4 cup peanuts, chopped
- 1 red bell pepper, diced
- 1/2 cup green onions, sliced
- 1-2 tsp red pepper flakes (adjust to spice preference)

 



Instructions:
1. Cook pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.

2. In a small bowl, whisk together soy sauce, hoisin sauce, rice vinegar, sesame oil, cornstarch, 
sugar, and water. Set aside.

3. Heat vegetable oil in a large pan over medium-high heat. Add diced chicken and cook until browned.

4. Add minced garlic and chopped peanuts to the pan. Cook for another minute.

5. Stir in diced red bell pepper and sliced green onions.
Cook until vegetables are slightly softened.



6. Pour the sauce mixture over the chicken and vegetables, stirring well to combine.
Let it simmer for a few minutes until the sauce thickens.

7. Add cooked pasta to the pan, tossing to coat with the sauce.

8. Sprinkle red pepper flakes for an extra kick of heat.

9. Serve hot, garnished with additional green onions and peanuts if desired.
