Year End Prayer 2020

Dear Lord,

As we come to the end of this unprecedented year, we gather in prayer, reflecting on the challenges and blessings that 2020 has brought us. In the midst of the Covid-19 pandemic that has touched the lives of so many around the world, we turn to you for comfort, healing, and guidance.

We thank you, Lord, for your presence with us throughout this difficult year. You have been our rock and our refuge, our strength in times of trouble. We are grateful for the ways you have sustained us, protected us, and carried us through the darkest days.

As we look back on 2020, we lift up to you all those who have been affected by the pandemic - those who have lost loved ones, those who are sick or suffering, those who are struggling economically, and those who are feeling isolated and alone. May your healing touch be upon them, bringing comfort, strength, and hope.

We pray for the frontline workers, the healthcare professionals, the essential workers, and all those who have been tirelessly serving others during this crisis. Protect them, Lord, and give them the strength and courage to continue their vital work.

As we approach the dawn of a new year, we ask for your guidance and wisdom. Help us to learn from the challenges of 2020, to grow in compassion and empathy, and to build a more just and caring society. May we emerge from this crisis stronger, more resilient, and more united than ever before.

Lord, as we welcome 2021, we place our hopes and fears in your hands. Grant us faith to trust in your unfailing love, hope to sustain us through the trials ahead, and love to bind us together as one human family.

In your mercy, hear our prayers and bless us with your peace. Amen.

May the year 2021 bring healing, restoration, and renewal to our world.

Amen.

Year End Prayer 2011

Dear Heavenly Father,

As we approach the end of this year, we come before you with hearts filled with gratitude and humility. We thank you for guiding us through the past twelve months, for the blessings you have bestowed upon us, and for the lessons we have learned along the way.

In this final moment of 2011, we ask for your forgiveness for any shortcomings or mistakes we may have made. Help us to let go of any regrets or burdens that weigh us down, allowing us to enter the new year with a renewed spirit and a clean slate.

We also pray for your guidance and wisdom as we reflect on the past year. May we remember the moments of joy and laughter, the times of growth and achievement, and the friendships and relationships that have enriched our lives. Give us strength to learn from the challenges and difficulties we faced, understanding that they have shaped us into stronger individuals.

Lord, as we prepare to welcome a new year, we ask for your grace and blessings to accompany us on this journey. Grant us the courage to step out of our comfort zones, embrace change, and pursue the dreams and aspirations you have placed in our hearts.

May 2012 be a year of hope, healing, and restoration. May it be a year of unity and kindness, where love triumphs over hate, and compassion guide our actions. Help us to be a light in the darkness, spreading your love and sharing your message of peace and salvation with those around us.

Lastly, we lift up those who are hurting, struggling, or feeling lost as this year comes to a close. Surround them with your love and comfort, reminding them of your faithful presence and the promise of a brighter tomorrow.

Thank you for the gift of another year, for your unwavering love, and for always being by our side. May we continue to seek your will in all that we do, and may every step we take in the coming year be guided by your divine grace.

In your precious name, we pray,

Amen.
