Mga natutunan ni iStar-Tariray lately

Bakit Hagdan ang napili kong larawan?
Kasi para syang buhay ng tao,
Kung minsan papa-akyat,
Tapos kung minsan pa-baba naman.

14. Ang buhay, di laging masaya-masagana-makulay meron din yang ups and down.

Rizal Park Dancing Fountain

Rizal Dancing Fountain is located in the middle of the iconic Rizal Park also known as Luneta Park.

Just recently Manila government added another attraction in this popular area which I think is really really wonderful.

That fountain area serves a much better purpose than just being a fountain day and night.

The dullness of the fountain area came to life when the darkness started to envelop the earth.
Crowds started to gather around the rectangular pool of water in the park as the lights and music turned on.

I heard a mother telling her kids to pay attention as the show started to begin and as the music started to play so was the fountain that came to life.

People cheered and watched in amazement as the fountain moved and danced with the music. I witnessed one like this in Singapore and it is amazing.

Truly very entertaining, and cheap as there is no fee to see the fountain show. You could come every day as the show is every day and for everyone.

Sharing some of the photos that I took during the show.

Takipsilim sa Manila Bay

In the final moments of daylight, the sun paints the sky with its awe-inspiring masterpiece, leaving us in wonder and awe."

"With each sunset, the world transforms into a canvas of vibrant hues, reminding us that even in darkness, there is beauty."

"As the sun descends, it paints the sky with a magnificent tapestry of colors, reminding us of the beauty that can be found in letting go."

"In the embrace of twilight, the setting sun whispers stories of endings and new beginnings, reminding us of the cycle of life."

"The setting sun casts its golden glow as if to say, 'Even in farewell, there is inherent beauty and grace.'"

"As the sun kisses the horizon, it reminds us to let go of the worries of the day and embrace the peace that comes with twilight."

"The setting sun carries with it a sense of tranquility, inviting us to slow down, breathe, and find solace in the present moment."

"The setting sun paints the sky in vibrant hues, leaving a trail of magic behind, a gift for those who take the time to look up."

My Daughters

To my daughters Jedi & Heart,

You are my greatest treasure and reward to me from the Lord. My life couldn't be happier, meaningful, and full of joy without you in it. The Lord has been so good in blessing me with such wonderful, beautiful, smart, and loving daughters.

Thank you so much for adding meaning to my life, for making it more exciting and colorful.
Trials and suffering are nothing compared to your smiles and comforting words.
Your loving embrace and kisses bring me to my feet once again whenever I feel like giving up.
I can't ask for more, I love you my daughters, and that I am forever grateful and thankful to the author and giver of life.

Lord Almighty,  praises and glory to YOU.
Thank you so much for my daughters, YOU indeed knew me full well.

I love you Lord and my forever praise be YOURs  ALONE.

Credits to Jedi for taking this photo of me and sweetHeart.

Hay Buhay!

Ang buhay ng tao...
Kung minsan makulay, magulo,
Kung minsan masaya, malungkot
Kung minsan nakakapagod pero gusto mo
 paring mabuhay at di sumuko...
At pag napag tagumpayan mo ang
 passubok malalasap mo ang tamis..
 at sarap ng buhay...

Parang Halo-halo,
Angulo tingnan pero ang sarap...

Aguinaldo Shrine

If you were planning to visit a museum or something, this place is a must!!

I recommend this to everyone young and old alike to know our past heritage. This place holds the key maybe not the entire key but part of it. The very essence of our republic and the cries of our countrymen long before our land was declared as a free republic still echo in the walls of this place. Every turn in this place for me provides information about our past.

LIKES: FREE Entrance, well-lighted and ventilated, well-preserved antiquity in the area, really like the pieces of information posted- it indeed helps to educate visitors, there is a tour guide available for a larger group, well-kept garden, and vegetation.

DISLIKES: Some areas were closed to the public which made me really so sad, with limited parking space.

Please feel free to visit my entire album on this link- Emilio Aguinaldo Shrine.

The Aguinaldo Shrine, located in Kawit, Cavite, Philippines, holds great historical significance as it was the home of one of the country's most prominent figures, General Emilio Aguinaldo. Aguinaldo is known as the first President of the Philippines and played a pivotal role in the nation's struggle for independence from Spanish colonial rule.

The Aguinaldo Shrine serves as a museum and national shrine, preserving the memory and legacy of General Aguinaldo. The house itself is a grand mansion that showcases the architectural style prevalent during the Spanish colonial era in the Philippines.

Inside the Aguinaldo Shrine, visitors can explore various rooms and exhibits that offer a glimpse into the life and times of General Aguinaldo. There are displays of personal artifacts, historical documents, photographs, and furniture that shed light on both his personal and political life.

A particularly noteworthy room is the study where General Aguinaldo proclaimed Philippine independence from Spain on June 12, 1898. This declaration marked a significant moment in Filipino history, making the Aguinaldo Shrine an important site for understanding the fight for freedom and sovereignty.

Aside from its historical significance, the Aguinaldo Shrine also showcases beautiful gardens and grounds where visitors can stroll, providing a tranquil environment to reflect on the past and appreciate the natural beauty of the area.

As a symbol of Filipino nationalism and pride, the Aguinaldo Shrine attracts both tourists and locals alike who wish to learn more about the country's history and pay homage to General Emilio Aguinaldo, a key figure in the fight for independence.

The Aguinaldo Shrine is a well-preserved and iconic landmark in the Philippines. Here are some more details about this historic site:

1. Architecture: The Aguinaldo Shrine showcases a combination of various architectural styles, including Spanish, American, and Filipino design elements. Its exterior features a distinct Bahay na Bato style, characterized by its raised wooden floors, capiz windows, and a galvanized iron roof. The house has a sprawling layout with spacious rooms and wide hallways.

2. Historical Significance: The shrine holds great importance as it served as Emilio Aguinaldo's primary residence during critical moments in Philippine history. It was in this house that the Philippine Flag was first unfurled and the national anthem was played. It also witnessed significant events during the Philippine Revolution against Spain and the Philippine-American War.

3. Museum and Exhibits: Today, the Aguinaldo Shrine operates as a museum and national shrine run by the National Historical Commission of the Philippines. Visitors can explore the various rooms, each filled with historically significant artifacts such as furniture, artwork, military uniforms, and personal items belonging to General Aguinaldo and his family.

4. Independence Day Celebrations: The Aguinaldo Shrine plays a central role in the annual celebration of Philippine Independence Day on June 12th. The Philippine flag is raised here, and a ceremonial reenactment of the proclamation of independence takes place, attracting visitors from all over the country.

5. Surrounding Grounds: The Aguinaldo Shrine is surrounded by beautifully landscaped gardens, adding to its charm. Visitors can stroll through the grounds and enjoy the serene ambiance while appreciating the architectural beauty of the house.

6. Accessibility: The shrine is easily accessible, located in Kawit, Cavite, which is just a short distance from Manila. There are guided tours available to help visitors fully appreciate the historical and cultural significance of the site.

The Aguinaldo Shrine stands as a testament to the courage and determination of General Emilio Aguinaldo and the Filipino people in their quest for independence. It serves as a reminder of the nation's past struggles and achievements, allowing visitors to connect with the rich history of the Philippines.
