Little Tots

Can somebody tell me, who can resist all these adorable, lovable, naughty, cutie little tots?

Because I can't... :)

Moments with my kiddos, nieces, and nephews were indeed priceless.

Gone are the days when the only baby we have inside our family is Jedi.

Now, many cutie patoties give life inside our home.

"A niece & nephew is a precious gift that brings joy and laughter into our lives, reminding us of the beauty of innocence."

"Being an aunt to my beloved niece & nephew has taught me that love knows no boundaries, as it transcends blood relations and creates lasting connections."

"Having nieces and nephews means having an army of little warriors, bravely fighting our battles with us, cheering us on, and reminding us of our strength."

"Nieces and nephews are the living embodiment of possibility, their dreams and aspirations inspiring us to never settle, always reaching for the stars."

"To be an aunt or uncle is to have a front-row seat in witnessing the incredible transformation of a child into a remarkable individual, filled with unique talents and passions."

"In the eyes of our nieces and nephews, we see innocence and wonder, refreshing our perspectives and teaching us to embrace life's simple pleasures."

"Nieces and nephews are the bridges between generations, connecting the wisdom of the past with the promise of the future, weaving a tapestry of love that withstands the test of time."

"Family is the first school of love and compassion, where we learn to forgive, to understand, and to cherish the precious connections that shape our lives."

Nuvali, Nuvali- But You!

After those sleepless, crying, and lonely nights- our growing family decided to unwind a little and travel a short distance for a while away from our place for a day.

We were still mourning, sad and lonely but life needs to go on. It's kinda of painful seeing my sister-in-law and her son Reagan every day- knowing the fact that my brother is no longer there to give them cheer.  I still missed him so badly that I shed some weight due to a loss of appetite. There are times when I cry whenever I hear his favorite songs that I know of, see something that he owns, or even remember some sweet gestures that remind me of him.

We went to a nearby place where we could breathe fresh air, and see wonderful and different ambiance. So Tagaytay comes to mind first followed by Nuvali. Speaking of Nuvali, this is a budding commercial area on the south side of Metro Manila. Close to nature, a lot of restos all over the area, nice man-made lake where you could feed those fishes who were so hungry- this actually made our kiddos enjoy most of our stay in this place. The area was indeed well-kept and clean, and there were a lot of traffic aid/security guards who were at bay to assist you.

You can view my entire album here- Nuvali, Nuvali But You!

However, I provided some photos for you to enjoy.

Nuvali is a thriving and dynamic eco-community located in Laguna, Philippines. Situated in the municipality of Santa Rosa, it spans 2,290 hectares of land, offering a harmonious blend of residential, commercial, and recreational spaces.

One of the primary attractions of Nuvali is its commitment to sustainability and environmental preservation. The community boasts lush green spaces, tree-lined roads, and picturesque landscapes that provide a breath of fresh air and a serene ambiance for residents and visitors alike. The developers have placed great emphasis on promoting eco-friendly practices, such as rainwater harvesting, wastewater management systems, and the preservation of natural habitats.

Moreover, Nuvali offers a range of residential options, from single-family homes to condominiums, designed to cater to different lifestyles and preferences. Its master-planned communities prioritize modern urban living while embracing the beauty of nature.

Aside from being a residential area, Nuvali is also known for its array of recreational activities. It features a man-made lake where visitors can go kayaking, fish feeding, and enjoy scenic boat rides. The sprawling bike trails offer opportunities for cycling enthusiasts to explore the surroundings. Additionally, there are jogging paths, picnic areas, and outdoor sports facilities that provide options for fitness and leisure activities.

The community's commercial district, Solenad, offers a vibrant retail and dining experience with its wide selection of shops, restaurants, and entertainment establishments. From local boutiques to international brands, Solenad provides a diverse shopping experience for visitors.

Nuvali also prioritizes educational and cultural development. It houses Miriam College Nuvali, which offers various academic programs, providing quality education within the community. Overall, Nuvali stands as a testament to sustainable urban development, demonstrating how a community can thrive while preserving and appreciating the natural beauty of its surroundings. Its commitment to eco-living, coupled with its diverse offerings, makes it a destination worth exploring for those seeking a balance between modern convenience and a greener way of life.

Dangwa- The Flower Shopping Place

No other place in Manila where you can find good quality flowers at the most reasonable price ever.

I strolled this place in the wee hours of the morning to find a wreath/garland to adorn my brother's coffin in his wake. Indeed the best in town were to find the best flowers that anyone could choose from. From gifts, weddings, baptismal, and funerals. You can find it all here.

Likes: they have all the varieties of flowers one could ever imagine, and prices were reasonable- way too cheap for a flower shop inside the mall. What do I really like the most? You could haggle the prices.

Dislikes: Traffic, garbage, No public CR in the area, No parking space.

Overall rating this is the best place for flower shopping.
