Holiday Season 2009

The Holiday Season is fast approaching and everybody seems so busy these past few days... so am I.
Our queues never went down from the thousand and thousand that we got every day... indeed were as busy as a bee... overtime has been opened and been required to render at least an hour a day...

Gosh... I had never been home early since the start of this month I wished to go on leave by next month for Buging-ging's birthday. It's her 2nd birthday next month and I won't accept any delay and other appointments for this special day...

Mamita advised us to celebrate it in Xevera for a change... Hmm.... have to think about it....
Another year has been added to our little angel and I getting older each year...

I thank you, Lord, for this life...

Thank you sooo much...

When I say...

When I say…”I am a Christian” I’m not shouting “I am saved” I’m whispering “I got lost!”

“That is why I chose this way.”When I say…”I am a Christian” don’t speak of this with pride. I’m confessing that I stumble and need someone to be my guide.

When I say…”I am a Christian” I’m not trying to be strong. I’m professing that I’m weak and pray for strength to carry on.

When I say…”I am a Christian” I’m not bragging of success. I’m admitting I have failed and cannot ever pay the debt.

When I say…”I am a Christian” I’m not claiming to be perfect. My flaws are too visible but God believes I’m worth it.

When I say…”I am a Christian” I still feel the sting of pain I have my share of heartaches which is why I seek His name.

When I say…”I am a Christian” I do not wish to judge. I have no authority. I only know I’m loved.

Travel_1st Timer in Manila Ocean Park

The popularity of Manila Ocean Park has reached us and indeed so excited to see the place.

Quite a long ago when I visited Hong Kong Ocean Park and was amazed at what it offers.
The underwater life stunned me in its colors, corals and it's moving life forms.
I actually expecting something in this visit and hopefully won't be disappointed.

Upon arrival at the location- parts of it were still undergoing construction and of course, there are still a lot of opportunities for improvements. I know as days passed by this would offer a much better place for visitors.

The entrance fee as of this writing is Php 1,200.00

The place was covered and airconditioned. There are underwater life-form categories that you will see as you strolled the area.

There are food restos and souvenir stores inside the place that you could check and visit.

Improvements will be on their way and still looking for more other activities in this place.

Let me share some of my pictures...

Happy Mother's Day!

Mothers hold a unique and irreplaceable place in our hearts. They are the pillars of strength, the voices of wisdom, the shoulders to cry on, and the source of unconditional love.

From the moment they bring us into this world, mothers dedicate themselves wholeheartedly to caring for us, guiding us, and supporting us through life's ups and downs.

Their love knows no bounds, their sacrifices often go unseen, but their influence leaves an indelible mark on our lives.

Moments_I Believe

A Birth Certificate shows that we were born
A Death Certificate shows that we died
Pictures show that we lived!

I Believe...
That just because two people argue,
it doesn't mean they don't love each other.
And just because they don't argue,
it doesn't mean they do love each other.

I Believe...
That we don't have to change friends if
we understand that friends change.

I Believe...
That no matter how good a friend is, they're going to hurt
you every once in a while and you must forgive them for that.

I Believe...
That true friendship continues to grow, even over
the longest distance. Same goes for true love.

I Believe....
That you can do something in an instant
that will give you heartache for life.

I Believe...
That it's taking me a long time
to become the person I want to be.

I Believe...
That you should always leave loved ones with
loving words. It may be the last time you see them.

I Believe...
That you can keep going long after you think you can't.

I Believe...
That we are responsible for what
we do, no matter how we feel.

I Believe...
That either you control your attitude or it controls you.

I Believe...
That heroes are the people who do what has to be done
when it needs to be done, regardless of the consequences.

I Believe...
That money is a lousy way of keeping score.

I Believe...
That my best friend and I can do anything or nothing and have the best time.

I Believe...
That sometimes the people you expect to kick you
when you're down, will be the ones to help you get back up.

I Believe...
That sometimes when I'm angry I have the right to be angry,
but that doesn't give me the right to be cruel.

I Believe...
That maturity has more to do with what types of experiences you've had
and what you've learned from them and less to do
with how many birthdays you've celebrated.

I Believe...
That it isn't always enough, to be forgiven by others.
sometimes, you have to learn to forgive yourself.

I Believe...
That no matter how bad your heart is broken the world doesn't stop for your grief.

I Believe...
That our background and circumstances may have influenced who we are,
but, we are responsible for who we become.

I Believe...
That you shouldn't be so eager to find
out a secret. It could change your life Forever.

I Believe...
Two people can look at the exact same
thing and see something totally different.

I Believe...
That your life can be changed in a matter of
hours by people who don't even know you.

I Believe...
That even when you think you have no more to give, when
a friend cries out to you - you will find the strength to help.

I Believe...
That credentials on the wall do not make you a decent human being.

I Believe...
That the people you care about most in life are taken from you too soon.

I believe. . .
"The happiest of people don't necessarily have the best of everything:
they just make the most of everything."

Moments_Painted with a different brush

I suppose it's not always a good idea to blend too closely with your surroundings. And that holds true for the way we think and behave, too. We may not always want to be like everyone else around us. I admire those people willing to stand out from the crowd.

People like a Miami mother who came to police and spilled out cash and coins totaling $19.53. Her young son added another 85 cents to the little pile. It turns out that, after two days, they were the only people to return money scooped up from an armored truck that toppled on an overpass and rained more than half a million dollars onto the street below. Police said that witnesses reported seeing rush-hour commuters loading money into their cars and driving off while the armored truck employees lay bleeding. Police had pleaded with residents to return the money, but got nothing but laughter until a mother and a boy came in.

In a world that seemed to think alike, two people had a different idea. They refused to blend in with those around them. It was as if they were painted with a different brush. "I have children and I needed to set a good example," said the mother of six, who could have used a little extra cash to supplement her low retail store wage.

Most people talk about values and what they believe to be right and wrong. But I've noticed that our REAL values can be seen by the way we live. It is the things we do and the choices we make that show what we truly believe.

An 11-year-old boy who turned in 85 cents because he felt "it was wrong for me to keep anything" stood out from the crowd. And a mother who wanted to teach her children to do the right thing set an example they will never forget. Like Ruth E. Renkel says, "Sometimes the poorest man leaves his children the richest inheritances. "

When this Miami mother one day passes away, she will leave her children a rich inheritance. Maybe not a pile of money, but she will leave them an example of a life of integrity and self respect, an example of what it is like to be painted with a different brush. She will leave them something far more important than wealth.

If her children inherit her values, anything else is just money.

Paint them fortunate.
